The Fairway Restaurant & Chatham Fish and Lobster will combine efforts to put together a wonderful Christmas meal for our elderly community in Eastham through the Council on Aging. We will be providing up hot meals to our elderly community members this Christmas. Hole in One group and Chatham Fish and Lobster would like to show our love and support for our locals by donating and volunteering our time to prepare delicious home cooked meals with all the fixings and dessert to top it off. It is our hope that this gesture will bring some bright smiles on their faces and warm joy in their hearts.

Baked Cod dinner: Fresh Cod donated Chatham Fish and Lobster, Coconut rice, sauteed vegetable medley served with our delicious Cran-Apple Crumble for dessert, all prepared by the Fairway staff.

UPDATE

Thank you to Eastham Council On Aging, Eastham Police, Eastham Fire, and the Eastham residents who coordinated the distribution of 90 meals and delivery for our elderly community members. Kudos to all employees of Fairway Restaurant & Pizzeria who prepped, cooked, and packaged all 90 meals. Thank you to Chatham Fish & Lobster for donating the fish for our Baked Cod Dinner.

And more importantly, to our Eastham seniors who deserved a Christmas Dinner. It was our hope that this gesture would bring the meal recipients joy (and a delicious meal!) during this unusual holiday season. But, ultimately, as we watched cars line-up around our building waiting to pick-up their deliveries and chatted with volunteers before they headed to their dropoff destinations, we felt that joy ourselves. #thisiscommunity
